Melissa is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 20 years of professional experience working with teenagers, young adults and families in outpatient, school and residential settings.
Melissa is committed to working with individuals using a strength-based, person-centered approach focused on supporting those who struggle with addiction and mental health needs.
Melissa is a graduate of Lesley University with a masters degree in Professional Counseling Psychology. She also has extensive training and professional experience working with persons who have experienced trauma, addiction and utilizing expressive therapies as a means of healing. Melissa is an active Life is Good Playmaker and believes in the power of play in healing both in individual and group therapeutic settings.
